POINTLESS PRIZES! The library has copies of The Pointless Book and the Pointless Book 2 by Alfie Deyes to give away to a lucky winner(s). Come to the library for your Message in a Book entry form, to tell us why you should win. Most original, hilarious or tragic reason will win a prize. DUKE OF EDINBURGH AWARD ~ The following training sessions will take place in the Assembly Hall:

Bronze expedition – first one is today, Friday 17 March 2pm – 5pm.

Gold expedition – first one is on Monday 20 March 3.40pm – 5pm.

MEDIA VOLUNTEERING WORKSHOP:  The Volunteer Centre, Western Isles, are holding a media volunteering workshop for pupils after school on Friday 24 March.  Keith Morrison, Wee Studio, will lead the workshop and talk about youth volunteering, the benefits of volunteering and media volunteering roles. He will give examples of available volunteer roles within local media including Marketing, Poster Creation, Gig Blogger, Photographer, Concert Production Assistant, Local Music Podcast Creation and podcasting practical skills.  Any S3 – S6 pupil interested in attending should see Mr Thomson, DHT or sign the sheet at the school office. OVERDUE LIBRARY BOOKS:  Could all pupils who have overdue Library books please return the items to the Library or into the Returns Box at the top of the stairs.  (Mrs C Campbell, School Library)
